Grades PreK-2- Monday September 22nd at 6:30PM-8:30PM

Grades 3-6   - Tuesday September 23rd at 6:30PM-8:30PM

Grades 7 & 8 - Wednesday October 1st at 6:30PM-8:30PM


We look forward to providing each child with new challenges to help them achieve their highest potential. DiChiaro administration, teachers and staff look forward to working with parents/guardians to provide a productive, nurturing and safe environment to support each child's success.

Please note the following:

* Bus Bracelets for grades PreK -3 students. Please be sure that students wear their colored bracelets until the end of September.

*School Uniforms- Please make sure your child wears their uniform each day.

* Summer Reading- Students who completed their Summer Reading Activities will receive a certificate. Please send in the completed forms as soon as possible.

* Parking Near the School- Please be mindful of our neighbors. With ongoing construction, parking will not be allowed in the school yard until further notice. Please do not block buses or driveways and do not park on the sidewalks near the school.

Board of Education Appoints Dr. Michael Yazurlo Superintendent of Yonkers Public Schools
The Trustees approved a two-year contract for Dr. Michael Yazurlo to serve as Superintendent of Schools, effective May 22, 2014. Dr. Yazurlo has been serving as the District's Interim Superintendent of Schools since February 19, 2014.

Teresa Tralli Named Teacher of the Year
Teresa Tralli, third grade teacher at School 22, has been named the 2014 Yonkers Public Schools Teacher of the Year and will be inducted into the Teacher Hall of Fame. 

Principal Elda Perez-Mejia Named 2014 Administrator of the Year
Elda Perez-Mejia, Principal of Eugenio María de Hostos MicroSociety School, has been named the Yonkers Public Schools Administrator of the Year, earning the Leadership in Education award sponsored by the Rotary Club of Yonkers - East Yonkers in association with the Yonkers Board of Education.

Gorton's Academy of Medical Professions First Hand Training at St. Joseph's Medical Center
